Are Electric Bikes Legal to Ride in the United Kingdom?

Electric Bikes must meet the EAPC(Electrically Assisted Pedal Cycle) regulations to motor-assisted speed (not beyond 15.5mph or 25kmh) and motor power (no more than 250Watts). Currently, electric scooters are not legally allowed on public roads and can only be ridden on private land with the owner's permission.
