The Frog 53 is a lightweight hybrid bike designed for children aged approximately 5 to 7 years who are ready to ride further and begin using gears confidently. With an easy to manoeuvre frame, child sized components and eight speed gearing, it supports developing skills on a range of surfaces including pavements, parks and light trails. Suitable for children with an inside leg measurement of 50 to 65 centimetres.
The Frog 53 is designed to support young riders as they transition from smaller pedal bikes to longer and more varied rides. Its lightweight aluminium frame and child specific geometry help make starting, stopping and steering easier, with a low bottom bracket for stability and controlled handling.
The bike features eight speed gearing for gentle hill riding and longer journeys at a comfortable pace. FrogFit Technology gear shifters and compact pedal spacing support smoother pedalling and easier gear changes for small hands and legs.
Braking control is supported by child sized brake levers and Tektro brakes. Wide grip tyres and a practical chainguard offer stability and finger protection during everyday family rides.
